Back Stretching Routine for Dancers

Today, let’s dive into the upper body: neck, shoulders, arms, and back! I’ll be showing you 5 exercises that will target the strengthening and stretching of the upper torso because it’s super important to have good dance posture by engaging the right sets of muscles. Having a good posture also helps with your balance, spins, alignment, presentation and much more. I’ll go through the 5 exercises slowly first, then we’ll combine them back to back into a little routine.

As usual, I incorporate a mix of yoga, pilates, dance into my stretches and workouts. Enjoy. 🙂

    Hi Li Wen !! I love the exercise class, but i want to do each one more than once….that is enough for me at the moment as i am rather out of shape. I want to start taking dance classes (live in person ones) when this virus is no more, but the exercises are perfect…how do i get them all at once so i can do them everyday? and in a permanent way…..I am happy to pay. Thanks!

Very well made and very helpful, not only for dancers but also for anyone who experiences stiffness from computer work. etc. It is a wonderful gift during the difficult time with the corona pandemic.
